Designer Nitin Bal Chauhan is set to officially launch his new label Bhootsavaar in mid-2013. He says he has tied up with one of the biggest retail chains of the country for it.

"The launch is happening in the mid of this year. I cannot share more information right now as this is a collaboration with a big retail chain and can only be talked about at the right time," Chauhan told IANS.

"I am designing for that label and they (the retail house) will take Bhootsavaar across the country," he added.

The designer says it is a "mass market label", which is affordable, and so it will appeal to people across all sections of society.

"One can find a Bhootsavaar T-shirt for Rs.700 all across, but it definitely will have that edginess of my quirky designing," he added.

The clothing brand is cool and funky in essence, says the designer.

"There are some people who spend hours cracking a riff, while others who can't stop their feet when they listen to a beat. Each individual has a passion, which helps him express himself, touch freedom and experience madness."

"Bhootsavaar translates to this passion. We believe in people who are mad enough to follow their passion without giving in," said the designer, who is an avid painter.

His new label will features T-shirts and jackets in colours like pink, green and fluorescent yellow. He also has on offer a range of trousers and accessories.
