Nishant Malkhani opts out of Zee TV's show 'Maitree'; here's why

Nishant Singh Malkani rose to fame with his stint as AJ in Zee TV's popular show 'Guddan tumse na ho payega'. India Forums broke the news about Nishant being in contention with Kunal Karan Kapoor on entering Zee TV's show 'Maitree'. India Forums got in touch with Nishant, and he spoke to us about the same.

We asked Nishant if the news is true and if he is considering the show to which the actor said, ''Yes, I was offered the show. However, I am not doing it anymore. I was going to do the show and everything was almost finalised but a film came my way and I decided to sign it up. I was very keen on working with Sunshine Productions and would love to work with them in the future but currently, I am not doing the show.''

We asked Nishant to spill some beans on the film that he has signed however the actor denied to comment on it and said he is contract bound. 

On the work front, Nishant was last seen in Dangal TV's Cop drama 'Control Room' opposite Samiksha Jaiswal. The actor has been a part of quite a lot of popular shows which also include shows like 'Pyaar ki ye ek kahani,' and 'Miley jab hum tum.' Apart from this, Nishant was also seen in Bigg Boss 14 and Dangal TV's show 'Rakshabandhan.'
