Nishant Malkani bids adieu to Genda Phool

The track of Raj (Nishant Malkani) and Sanjana (Tapeshwari Sharma) in Star Plus's, Sasural Genda Phool can be termed to be a cute and pleasing love story with the right mix of fear and suspense. Though their love story was short lived, it came across as an enchanting relation to the viewers.

Now, that Nishnat Malkani is biding adieu to the show, his character of Raj will be shown as missing.

For the uninitiated, yesterday's episode saw Raj coming out of his hide out and celebrating Sanjana's Birthday in style. This would be the last scene of Raj in the show as post this he would be seen escaping from the place when he notices that the goons have spotted him with Sanjana.

We hear that the creative team will just declare Raj as missing and will move on with Sanajan's track. It is buzzed that, a new guy will soon enter as Sanjana's love interest.

As per Nishant Malkani, the actor is now all set to play the male lead in Zee TV's upcoming show Ram Milayee Jodi which is to launch on September 20th.

When contacted, Nishant Malkani said, "It was an awesome journey being a part of Sasural Genda Phool. Though I did not get a chance to work with the entire cast it was a great experience indeed. The production house is amazing and I would love to work with them again, I will miss this show but having said this I look forward to Ram Milayee Jodi."

His co-actor Tapeshwari Sharma said, "Yes with Nishant Malkani going Sanjana's love story has ended on a sad note. Guess Raj will forever be a sweet memory for Sanjana. Nishant is one of my favorite co-actors and working with him was fun and I wish him all the luck."

As we look forward to a new tale for Sanjana, we wish Nishant all the very best.
