Nirmal Shah's crossover

Nirmal Shah talks about his crossover from acting to photography…

Nirmal Shah who was last seen in Sony's Thodi Khushi Thode Gham in the role of Karan has now completely devoted himself to his new interest – photography.

Nirmal says, "I just happened to fiddle with my camera and started taking pictures of nature, people and just about everything. It made me aware of the fantastic feeling of photography. Soon, I got a break from my acting career and I got the chance to focus on photography in a better way."

Now Nirmal has established himself quite a bit in the field of photography. He says, "Currently I have partnered with Neeraj Chawla and run a studio in the suburbs. I got my own stylist and make-up person who help in bringing alive the visualization of concept shoot. I'm no more a single person anymore. I've got a supportive team that helps me realize my dreams."

So where does he aim to reach? "I want to do more of ad-campaigns. Also, I want to shoot more celebrities. I'd like to work with the top celebs in doing their portfolio pictures as well as shoots for their association with a magazine or any other endorsements," says Nirmal.

The guy talks about his memorable first ad-campaign. He says, "My first ad-campaign was with actor Dilip Joshi (Jethalal of Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashma) for a hair oil product. It would remain close to my heart because it was my first ad campaign. Also, I had a wonderful experience working with Dilip. It added to the thrill of a first time experience."

Nirmal aims to exhibit his work soon and hopes that he would create a niche for himself in the world of lenses and flashlights!
