The four men who were convicted in Nirbhaya’s rape and murder case in 2012 have finally been hanged after eight years at the Tihar prison. The four convicted who are named- Akshay Kumar Singh, Pawan Gupta, Vinay Sharma, and Mukesh Singh were hanged at 5.30 am today. They were convicted for the brutal murder and rape of the 23-year-old in a moving bus in 2012.
