Nimrit Ahluwalia to exit 'Choti Sardarni'; Mahir Pandhi to leave the show as well

Choti Sardarni has been a show that has witnessed the maximum amount of developments especially when it comes to actors coming in and going out of the show. We recently witnessed how leading man Avinesh Rekhi quit the show after it went for a massive leap and that enabled the entry of actor Mahir Pandhi. One would also remember how leading lady Nimrit Ahluwalia quit the show last year in March due to health issues but returned in a few months as the show went in for the 20 year leap.

However, now it can be confirmed that once again, Ahluwalia is all set to quit the show due to health issues and this time, Pandhi is also exiting the family drama. Report suggested that the makers have already begun the process of casting a new couple. They also mentioned that they tried to retain Ahluwalia but understand that health is the priority. 

The source also confirmed that the new couple that will come in won't be replacing Ahluwalia and Pandhi and instead will be playing new characters. Ahluwalia's character will be instrumental in bringing the new characters to the forefront.

Once the new faces are establishes, Ahluwalia and Pandhi's characters will eventually fade away and exit. The new couple is expected to be introduced in the first week of April.

On the other hand, it is being reported that actors Salman Shaikh and Amandeep Sidhu have been finalised to play the new lead couple.
