Nimrit Ahluwalia on why she couldn't be a part of Shehnaaz Gill and Diljit Dosanjh's Honsla Rakh

Shehnaaz Gill will soon be making her Punjabi Flim debut with Diljit Dosanjh-starrer Honsla Rakh. Recently, the trailer of the movie has already created a solid buzz amongst the masses and also grabbed everyone's eyeballs.

The film has already been in the news for Shehnaaz Gill's appearance but recently, a news portal has reported that Choti Sarrdaarni fame Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia was offered the role before Shehnaaz.

Yes, you heard it right. Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia was offered to play Shehnaaz's role alongside Diljit Dosanjh in the film, Honsla Rakh, but due to Covid and shoot in Canada and also her prior commitment with Choti Sarrdaarni, the dates couldn’t be worked out.

When India Forums got in touch with Nimrit to know about the news she confirmed saying that, "Yes I was offered the movie last year September. But with Covid and shoot in Canada and my prior commitment with Choti, the dates couldn’t be worked out. Diljit sir himself had reached out for the project."

Nimrit is currently playing the role of Seher in the Colors TV show Choti Sarrdaarni post leap and the audience is really liking her role and appreciating her performance.
