Noted actor Nimisha Vakharia, who was last seen on popular shows like 'Sasural Simar Ka' and 'Badi Door Se Aaye Hai' has been roped in for the upcoming finite series on Star Plus.

As already in the news, Ramesh Deo Production, who directed the Hindi version of 24 on Colors, is now coming up with a finite series for Star Plus. The series will inculcate the backdrop of cricket and Vishal Gandhi, who was last seen playing Sanaya Irani's husband in 'Rangrasiya' along with Marathi actor Anuja Sathe have been finalized to play the main leads on the show.

Nimisha Vakari will be seen playing the role of Vishal's mother on the show. Her character will not be negative, but of a protective mother, who would be often misunderstood. Whatever she does, would come across as a negative thing, but would be justifiable from a mother's point of view.

We contacted Nimisha who confirmed the news, "Yes I will be playing the mother of Vishal on the show. She is a typical mother. The length is not important but the character is. The main reason to take up this show was the production house. The whole shoot has been shot like a film. And the story is also very different. "

Nimisha has already shot for her part.
