Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin on Star Plus has completed a massive feat as it has clocked in 1 year today over the so many hundred episodes that have aired so far. The show features Neil Bhatt and Ayesha Singh in the lead roles as they play Virat Chavan and Sai Joshi, respectively.

India Forums got in touch with Neil and asked him how has the journey been and what does he wish for the show and himself going forward. The actor says, ''Yes, the show has completely a year and it is when the first episode of the show went on-air a day ago. I am very happy that I get to see this day. It has not just passed one year, it has done so successfully and I say this because of the love the show ahs received, each and every character has received. All that I can say and wish for the show, it goes on like this, because other than providing entertainment to a lot of people, it also provides livelihood, to a lot of people, a lot of people depend on these kinds of projects so I will always want a project to go on because it provides happiness to so many people, even us artists, because if we don't get to perform, then what are we made for then. A lot of things are attached to one project and I am really really happy.''

He added, ''For myself, I would ask for more understanding of my role, more patience, more endurance and for more health so that I can continue working and entertaining the audience.''

We also asked him if he is liking how the character graph has been going so far, and to that, he highlights on how he believes in being objective about his work. He said, ''I tend to be objective towards my work, then only I can execute it and give my 100% justice to it, this is my interpretation of what I am doing. If I get subjective, then likes and dislikes tend to creep into the performance, hence I don't want to be subjective. Being objective gives me the freedom to not like what is happening with the story or with the character, I may or may not like it, but that shouldn't bother me. The audience is not wanting to see that, they just want to see what is Virat doing in GHKPM, we are not asking whether it is right or wrong, but we are just showing what is happening with every character in their life, and that does not mean we are taking any side, we are just showing that it is happening.''

Meanwhile, we had also spoken to Ayesha aka Sai earlier, and she went on to express how her journey as Sai has been as beautiful as ever.

India Forums wishes the team of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin hearty congratulations!

I understand Virat thoroughly and I appreciate Neil Bhatt for delivering mindblowing performance as Virat . I could connect to Virat because of Neil . I find Virat’s role a challenging one which only an accomplished actor could play with perfection and Neil is awesome. I don’t hate Virat rather I feel for him in this traumatic phase.
