Nehalaxmi Iyer To Make a Comeback With 'Qubool Hai 2.0'?

The fans of Karan Singh Grover and Surbhi Jyoti starrer Qubool Hai went absolutely berserk when it was confirmed that the show is getting a rebooted version of sorts that will be called Qubool Hai 2.0 and this time, the new version will be prepared for and be available on digital streaming platform, Zee5. The streamer has already had a TV show reboot in the form of Jamai Raja 2.0 last year and this time it will be with Qubool Hai.

This new sgot even better when it was later confirmed that both Grover and Jyoti will be returning in the 2.0 version reprising their roles.

One would remember that Qubool Hai was the show that launched Jyoti and put her on the map, now being the TV star she is today. On a similar note, this show was also a huge career high for actor Nehalakshmi Iyer. Iyer did have a bigger high in the form of Ishqbaaaz later in her career but this Zee Tv show was indeed a big moment too. Recent reports suggest that Iyer along with actor Vaquar Shaikh are both likely to retained for the rebooted version too.

While Shaikh played role of Asad's (Grover) father, Iyet played Rashid and Dilshad's daughter. If talks smoothly, both these actors will be a part of the show.

Earlier there were reports about Shalini Kapoor, who played Iyer's on-screen mother also beinf retained for the reboot.

The shoot for the show is expected to kickstart around a certain time in October.

The original producer of the show, Gul Khan won't be producing the show this time, and instead Mrinal Jha will be doing so.
