Neeraj Goyat steps In after Asim Riaz gets ousted from Battleground

Reality show Battleground has been making headlines after a dramatic clash led to Asim Riaz’s exit from the show. Last week, a heated altercation between Asim and fellow mentor Abhishek Malhan disrupted the shoot. The argument escalated even further when Rubina Dilaik attempted to intervene, resulting in the shoot being halted. Shortly after, reports surfaced suggesting Asim was removed from the show. However, Asim denied being dropped and claimed he voluntarily walked out.

Now, in a major update, Indian boxer and mixed martial artist Neeraj Goyat has stepped in to replace Asim Riaz as the new mentor. Neeraj is a highly respected athlete and was the first Indian boxer to be ranked by the World Boxing Council (WBC). Although he recently appeared on Bigg Boss OTT 3, he was the first to be evicted. Now, he’s back in the spotlight as a mentor for the UP Dabangs team on Battleground.

Sharing his thoughts on joining the show, Neeraj said, 'I’ve faced the toughest battles in the ring and in life. I bring that same spirit and discipline to Battleground. Adding to the buzz, Neeraj recently stirred controversy by challenging fellow mentor Abhishek Malhan, taking a direct jab at YouTubers. In a bold statement, he invited them for a boxing match and indirectly mocked Abhishek, calling into question his achievements beyond Bigg Boss OTT 2.
