Asim Riaz fires back Abhinav Shukla over online spat: 'This isn’t some WhatsApp group drama'

The drama began after Abhinav commented on Asim’s remarks about Rubina Dilaik during the show Battleground. Things got more heated when Abhinav shared on social media that he had received a death threat from someone claiming to be part of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Now, Asim has responded sharply to both Abhinav’s criticism and his post about the threat.

On Sunday evening, Asim took to his Instagram story and didn’t hold back. He said the argument on Battleground was between the four judges, and Abhinav had no reason to interfere. He wrote, “Four judges were having a real conversation… who even called you to jump in? Stop poking your nose everywhere trying to play the hero- this isn’t some WhatsApp group drama. People like you only speak up when someone else’s name brings you relevance. This wasn’t your scene, but you forced an entry like you mattered.”

Asim also reacted to Abhinav’s post about receiving a death threat. He claimed that fake IDs and fake comments can’t be taken seriously. “And stop fishing for sympathy off fake comments from fake IDs. This is the internet—anyone can type anything. Stand tall or stay silent,” Asim wrote.

He didn’t stop there. Responding to Abhinav’s indirect dig at his fitness, Asim wrote, “Now about fitness—only a man who’s never lifted will cry ‘steroids’ when someone shows up built different. I built this body, this name, this attitude—brick by brick, rep by rep. You call it substances, I call it substance. I don’t need sympathy—I need space to dominate and you Stay in your lane.”

Meanwhile, Abhinav had earlier posted a screenshot on X (formerly Twitter) of a disturbing message he received. The sender, calling himself Ankush Gupta, claimed to be from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and threatened to shoot him just like the attack near Salman Khan's house. The message was filled with abusive language and threats. The situation has clearly escalated, and fans are waiting to see what happens next.
