Neena Gupta opens up on 'Saans' sequel: everything ready but not takers

Actor Neena Gupta certainly needs no introduction where she has been on the tube for umpteen years and has been in an array of shows and films. But it is indeed her resurgence recently that has got her back into notice and she is living it up doing brilliant work.

Just like her films, she did one of the best shows ever to come on-air in the form of Saans. The show was one of the progressive ones to come across and has developed quite a following over the years.

Recently, Gupta came out with her autobiography called Sach Kahun Toh and for the same, she has been in news yet again. During one of the interviews, Gupta opened up on if she is working on the sequel of the show.

To this, she said, “Ab working kya karun? Koi leta hi nahin hai bana ne ke liye. Nobody wants it. Yeah I have everything ready but there are no takers so, I don’t know. Maybe someday I’ll get lucky with that too. I did this beautiful pilot paid by the channel, and changed a few things according to the channel. We put in so much effort, it was a beautiful pilot but the people who are in charge there feel that at this time such a thing will not work. In that case they know better so what can I say. Very sad but..."

Well, we are sure the fans of the show would love to see it come back, isn't it?
