Veteran actor Arun Bali left for heavenly abode at the age of 79 in his Mumbai residence. Since then, the actor has received a deluge of tributes on social media. The veteran actor's friends, admirers, and other actors posted condolences on social media as they expressed their greif.
Arun ji most recently appeared in Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha and Amitabh Bachchan's Goodbye.
Now actress Neena Gupta, who played the actor's co-star in the film Goodbye, has shared an old photo of the two from the Parampara set as a tribute to the late actor. Neena Gupta took to her Instagram account and shared a throwback picture of herself and Arun Bali. Neena captioned the photo, revealing that it was taken on the first day of filming for the 1993 television series Parampara.
Sharing the picture, Neena Gupta recalled her first day of shoot with the actor and said that she is glad to have shot with him again for Goodbye, years after Parampara. She wrote, “Goodbye #ArunBali My first day of shoot on the Parampara series set years ago with Arun Bali. So glad we got to shoot recently for Goodbye."
Richa, Firdaus Dadi, Ashwini Bhave, Prabha Sinha, Anil Dhawan, Mohan Bhandari, and others also starred in the programme. Arun Bali may be seen in the photo wearing an orange robe, while Neena Gupta can be seen seated next to him.
Meanwhile, Arun Bali passed away on Friday due to an age-related disease. His son Ankush Bali informed PTI that Arun Bali was suffering from a rare neuromuscular disease named Myasthenia gravis.
