Neeharika Roy has a strong message on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas

Kargil Diwas, observed on July 26 every year, is a solemn occasion in India to commemorate the sacrifices made by the brave soldiers during the Kargil War in 1999. This conflict between India and Pakistan occurred in the Kargil district's treacherous terrain in Jammu and Kashmir. It serves as a poignant reminder of the courage, determination, and indomitable spirit displayed by the Indian armed forces while defending the nation's sovereignty. On this day, ceremonies and events are held nationwide to pay tribute to the martyrs and express gratitude for their unwavering commitment to the country. Kargil Diwas stands as a symbol of unity, courage, and the steadfast resolve of the Indian people in the face of adversity.

Neeharika Roy, who plays the role of Radha in Zee TV's Pyaar ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan, says, "I always respect the soldiers of our country as we can live safely because they protect us. They fight for us in bleak situations and save us from the enemies of our country. Every year our country celebrates 'Kargil Vijay Diwas' on July 26 to honour the sacrifices of the fallen soldiers of the Indian army who gave their lives to win the battle against the Pakistan army in Kargil in July 1999, and every Indian should be grateful to them. I have to say that I am proud to be an Indian, and the least we can do is accountable to the soldiers who fought for us and are at the border to keep us safe, Jai Bharat."
