Nawazuddin Siddiqui reveals having lived in a house as the size of the bathroom of his new bungalow

Nawazuddin Siddiqui entered the ranks of Bollywood celebrities who own a Mumbai mansion. The actor recently discussed how different his new grandiose bungalow was from his other homes in the city, which he planned and built over three years. Nawazuddin toiled for over a decade in Bollywood until breaking through with Gangs of Wasseypur in 2012. During this time, the actor lived in a number of modest flats, which were frequently crowded with other budding actors. Nawazuddin made a comparison between the two timeframes in a recent interview.

Speaking to Bombay Times, Nawazuddin said, 

“Aaj jitna bada mera personal bathroom hai, utnasa mera ghar hua karta tha."

When he first came to Mumbai, he shared a small apartment with four other aspiring performers. That room was so little that if one opened the door, it would smack someone's foot because they all slept on the floor. He eventually started sharing his room with three people, then two, and it wasn't until 2005 that he moved out on his own.

The bungalow is named Nawab, after Nawazuddin's father. The actor expressed his desire for his father to visit his large Mumbai home, but it couldn't happen because he passed away before this mansion was being constructed. Nawazuddin's new residence is located in Versova. His house in Budhana, Uttar Pradesh, is thought to have dictated the bungalow's design. The mansion and its surrounding fences are all painted white, and trees line the outdoor area.

On the professional front, Nawaz is currently gearing up for his film Tiku Weds Sheru. He will star alongside Avneet Kaur in the movie. Under the umbrella of Manikarnika Films, Kangana Ranaut produces the movie, which is scripted and helmed by Sai Kabir.
