Nawazuddin and his family put Under Home Quarantine in UP!

Nawazuddin Siddiqui along with his family have been put under home quarantined after they recently traveled to their hometown in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh from Mumbai amid the nationwide lockdown. The actor and his family underwent medical screening and have tested negative for Coronavirus.

Nawazuddin had reached his ancestral place on May 11 to celebrate Eid after which the authorities directed him and his family to remain under quarantine for 14 days till May 25. 

As per reports in Hindustan Times Nawazuddin obtained permission from authorities in Mumbai for traveling. His mother, brother, and sister-in-law also made the journey with him.

Kushalpal Singh, Station House Officer (SHO), Budhana police circle, said that the health officials had visited the home of the actor and ordered a 14-day quarantine for them.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Nawazuddin will soon be seen in Ghoomketu, which also stars Anurag Kashyap, Ila Arun, Raghubir Yadav, Swanand Kirkire and Ragini Khanna in pivotal roles. Reportedly, Amitabh Bachchan, Ranveer Singh, and Sonakshi Sinha have made special appearances in the project.
