I play the character of Sumedh in 'Ankh Micholi,' a role with layers and complexities. The preparation for this character has been a fulfilling journey. I delved deep into understanding the nuances of Sumedh, exploring his background, motivations, and emotional arcs. In what ways does television as a medium differ from films and OTT series?

Television, films, and OTT series are distinct mediums with their own challenges and advantages. TV allows consistent engagement with the audience over an extended period, fostering gradual character development. Films demand concentrated effort within a limited timeframe, while OTT series, with flexible episode durations, offers a unique platform for in-depth storytelling. As an actor, the diversity of these mediums allows me to explore various dimensions of my craft.

Given the time-intensive nature of television, does this imply a temporary hiatus from film and OTT projects for you?

While television can be time-consuming, it doesn't necessarily mean a break from films and OTT projects. Maintaining a balance across different mediums is crucial for personal and professional growth. While actively contributing to 'Ankh Micholi,' I am also open to exploring captivating opportunities in films and OTT series.
