Naveen Saini fractures his hand...

Naveen Saini who is seen in Rajan Shahi’s Bidaai recently met with a small accident on the sets while shooting. The actor who got married few weeks back now suffers a fracture in his hand, but continues to shoot for the show.

Talking about the scene Naveen says, “It was a scene where Vinu had to climb up thro' the pillar and enter into his wife Malti’s room. The scene was funny where my wife asks me to come thro’ the balcony and prove my love to her. While I was climbing, I fell heavily on my hand. This humorous scene turned into a nightmare as I fractured my hand in the process”.

“It’s a ligament pull and a hairline fracture. Initially, I thought I had just sprained my hand, so did not go to the doctor. But after two-three days, when the pain did not subside I went to the doctor, and the X-ray reports said that the damage was huge. Now I work with a bandage on, as there is no time to take off from shoot. So I hide my hand under the full sleeves shirt,” he quips.

The bandage will be on for a month. “After a month the bandage will be opened and then only doctors can say about the progress”, adds the dedicated actor.

What are the precautions to be taken? “I have been advised to keep the hand movement to a minimum, as the ligament needs to heal. If that doesn’t happen, I may have to be operated,” concludes the actor.

Well, we really wish that Vinuji gets fine before the ‘Bidaai’ of his sister on screen!!
