Naveen Pandita on the upcoming sequence: I was afraid the pandit will get me married for the second time

TV shows like to keep sequences as real as possible to make them relatable for the audience. This is especially true when there are sequences like a wedding when there are rituals that need to be performed. In Dangal TV's Ranju ki Betiyaan, they brought a real-life pandit to perform the wedding rituals between Shalu (Monika Chauhan) and Vishesh (Naveen Pandita). Naveen shares his experience of being a part of this extraordinary wedding.

Talking about how he was afraid that the pandit will get him married for the second time, Naveen says, “One of the most interesting parts of the wedding sequence was that the Pandit who was getting Vishesh and Shalu married on-screen is a real-life pandit who does actual weddings. He was engrossed in the character and was chanting real mantras. It made me nostalgic about my own wedding.  But I kept reminding him that it isn't an actual wedding and was hoping he doesn't get me married in real life.''

He added, ''I am very happy in my married life (laughs). We were made to take all 7 pheras and even the kanyadaan ritual was performed. Everything felt so real like my actual wedding. I was just wondering how my wife would react after seeing this fun sequence. All in all, it was a very interesting sequence to shoot but a little tiring because of the heat. I hope the audience enjoys it as much as we did.”

It sure sounds interesting and at the same time humorous!
