Nakuul Mehta enroutes Bollywood with Satte Pe Satta remake!

The blue-eyed boy of television, Nakuul Mehta who is popularly recognized as Shivaay Singh Oberoi from Star Plus’ insanely popular show Ishqbaaz has been missing from the small screen for some while. After Ishqbaaz, he was seen hosting a cricket game show and also graced the chat show The Greedy Closet but hasn’t taken up any full-fledged role in TV shows. Well, now we know why. 

Apparently, the actor is all set for his Bollywood career with an upcoming film which will be a remake of an old classic Satte Pe Satta. Ever since Farah Khan’s plans of remake of the 1982 classic Satte Pe Satta made headlines, fans have been excited to know who all are going to act in the film. It is already known that Hrithik Roshan will be stepping into Amitabh Bachchan’s shoes. Now, the reports have it that Nakuul Mehta will also be seen playing an important part in the film. Not just Nakuul, but Taare Zameen Par fame Darsheel Safari too has been roped in to play a pivotal role. 

Satte Pe Satta, Amitabh Bachchan’s character of Ravi (he had a double role, Babu being the other one) had six brothers. Darsheel and Nakuul have been roped in to play two of his brothers. The report also stated that the modalities are fast being worked out. The original film had Sachin Pilgaonkar, Shakti Kapoor, Paintal, Kanwaljeet Singh, Sudhir and Vikram Sahu playing Big B’s brothers. Let’s see which characters will Darsheel and Nakuul play in the remake.
