Actor Naina Singh might have been on the tube for only a while but she has already made a massive impact by first being in Splitsvilla and then starring in Kumkum Bhagya. Recently, she was seen in Bigg Boss 14 and her journey continues.
In a recent interview with ETimes TV, Singh opened up on the life-changing advice that was given to her by filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and how she will always remember it.
She said, "My experience of participating in INS (India's Next Superstar) will be cherishable throughout my life. I will tell you about Mahesh Bhatt sir, for him it might be just a show and he was paid to come there but what he did for each and every contestant was way beyond that. He invested his time and attention personally, which he could have not done also. I remember, once I had told Mahesh Bhatt Sir that I am so fed up with this world, that I want to turn thick-skinned. I want to stay unbothered with whatever issues, personal or professional. I look very strong, but I am that baby who cries back home. To which he said "That's your treasure. Your tears are your treasure, the day you will lose them you will be nowhere. Because the emotions that you carry are something that has built you because acting is all about emotions. So you have to be bothered by things and you have to cry about certain things in life, you be sad on certain days and that's okay. But you better don't lose yourself to become thick-skinned."
Indeed that is quite some advice!
