The Scam 1992 director took to his Twitter to share that his son is suffering from Downs Syndrome and bluntly pointed out how he needs the vaccine.

Sharing a picture of his son, Hansal Mehta wrote: “My son Pallava is 25 years old. He has Downs Syndrome. He has suffered from a near fatal respiratory failure a few years ago. Does he want the vaccine or does he need it?”

Previously, Alia Bhatt’s mother and veteran actress Soni Razdan had expressed her views on the ongoing COVID vaccination drive in India.

She had tweeted to Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray, and Aditya Thackeray asking why the younger generation from the age group of 16-40 not getting the vaccine first as they are the ones going out the most.

Soni Razdan had also come out in support of actors and said that the COVID-19 vaccine should be available to all actors as they cannot wear masks while working.
