I first time tried playing a characterless devdasi it worked for the makers. I remember how people were crazy about my character, Kumudini. It was all together a fresh presentation on Indian television from her strokes of humour to being a rude woman with the lingo used was so appreciated. I remember my performance was compared to megastar Nana Patekar sir. I would love to essay the character once again and would love if the makers plan for a second season of the show."

She adds, "As an actor I always have a greed to essay a role that can be once in a life time experience and is remembered by my audiences. I'm thankful to the channel to once again give me the opportunity to play a wonderful role of Vedika. She is independent, strong headed also emotional at same time. She has a perfect equation with each member in her family. She knows very well to handle the situation. I feel any modern woman can relate to her. As I play mother to lead male protagonist Nityam (Farman Haider). I feel the mother-son equation is also written so beautifully that today's generation can easily relate. Also I'm thankful that my audiences are loving me."

Indira has earlier appeared in Bollywood movies like Hey Bro, Tere Naam. She is also known for featuring in TV shows like Yeh Hai Chahatein, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Afsar Bitiya among others.
