But recently, Divya Agarwal hit back at Varun Sood after he addressed the question of cheating on her. It happened that Varun, on his social media post, did a fun question and answer session on twitter and hashtagged it as #AskVarun. While Varun dismissed many questions on Divya Agarwal and his breakup, he did reply to one fan's question alleging him cheating on Divya. A fan had asked Varun the reason behind cheating ex-girlfriend Divya Agarwal to which Varun replied, 'I didn't bro'. To this, Divya replied that she didn't need any attention, and Varun was the one who now and then tried to get in touch with her directly or indirectly. She now has a peaceful life, and she wants him to have peace and move on. And if she starts playing questions and answer, don't test her patience."

India Forums got in touch with Varun Sood to ask about the same, to which he replied, "I don't want any attention. They asked me a question, and it was clearly for the work that I did. My new series is going to release on Sony Liv titled Potluck, and I wanted people to know about the same, so I did the question-answer section. My entire idea was not to trigger anyone. I am consciously keeping away from all this. If I wanted to say anything, I would have spoken that time, but I chose to remain silent."

Both Divya and Varun stayed mum on the reason for their breakup. Months later, Divya started dating restaurateur Apurva Padgaonkar. They made their relationship official on Divya's birthday.
