MX Player Drops Trailer Of Revenge Drama ‘Ek Thi Begum’

MX Player’s upcoming web series titled, ‘Ek Thi Begum’ released its first poster on Saturday last week. The streaming giant today announced the trailer of the Marathi web series on its social media platform.

The two-minute trailer shows Sapna, wife of a righteous gangster named Zaheer. The latter has a bone to pick with the biggest underworld don living in Dubai. When Zaheer refuses to let up and let the don’s shipment pass, he is tortured and killed by the police.

Sapna also ends up losing her unborn child. Having lost everything and knowing that nobody is going to help her, she embarks on a mission against those who wronged her and begins her bloody tale of vengeance. The show has been inspired by actual events.

Ek Thi Begum will be available to watch in Hindi and Marathi and is part of MX Player’s regional slate of shows to be added. MX Player has announced 20 new originals by March 2020, making it 35 originals for the platform by the end of the business year. The revenge drama will be streaming on MX Player from 8th April 2020.
