'Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi' on Sony Entertainment Television boasts of a talented start cast of Shaheer Sheikh, Erica Fernandes and Supriya Pilgaonkar in pivotal roles. Joining these powerhouse performers is the Bong beauty Moon Banerjee who will be seen in a crucial role in the show as Sonakshi aka Erica's mother.

Coincidentally the actor will be seen playing a Bengali role on television for the first time. Speaking about the same, Moon said, "I am thrilled to be a part of Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi. The concept of the show is very different and my role too is unlike what I have played in the past. Also this is the first time in my 22 years of career that I will be playing a Bengali character on screen. In the show, I belong to a typical Bengali family and my diction and look is designed keeping in mind the same. Being a Bong, I am very excited to play the character as it is my forte."
