Monalisa REACTS on Hate Comments for IAF Pilot Abhinandan Varthaman

Currently, the nation is celebrating the return of brave IAF Pilot Abhinandan Varthaman who was held captive by Pakistan for over 2 days. We all are aware of the ongoing tension between us and our neighboring Country Pakistan over the Pulwama terror attack which took place two weeks ago. On the one hand, there are people who are posting welcome messages as the brave-heart is back in his motherland but on the other hand, there are hate mongers, trying to bring him down by posting hate comments against him.

Nazar fame Monalisa (Antara Biswas) came across a similar situation when hate mongers wrote against the pilot on her Instagram post. The actress shared her happiness on the safe return of IAF Pilot, Abhinandan and posted a picture as a welcoming gesture. However, this did not go well with some online trolls who posted hate comments and it was then, Monalisa reacted on the comments and said, "These are the people who support terrorism."

About Pulwama terror attack, It all started when a suicide bomber in an explosive-laden vehicle attacked a CRPF convoy on 14 February. 40 CRPF jawans died in the blast, leaving the country in deep shock. Later, IAF carried out air strikes in Balakot across the Line of Control (LOC), two weeks after the Pulwama terror attack in the Jammu and Kashmir. The second surgical strike carried out by the IAF, destroyed the camps of the terrorist organisation, Jaish-E-Mohammad which claimed responsibility for the attack. Unfortunately, Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman's plane got hit and he was held captive by Pakistani force. However, under the Geneva Convention law of 1949, Pakistan had to release the officer.
