Mohit Raina is undoubtedly one of the most vouched for stars in the television industry. Post his applaud winning role as Lord Shiva in Life OK's Devon Ke Dev. Mahadev, Mohit went on to reprise Lord Shiva's character in Mahabharat as well. Then, he bagged the role of the grown up Emperor Ashoka in Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat.
Post the Colors show, Mohit was a part of Discovery Jeet's 21 Sarfarosh - Saragarhi 1897, where he played the role of Havildar Ishar Singh, who led a contingent of only 21 soldiers against an Afghan Army of 10,000 men.
And looks like the role has worked in Mohit's favour, as the hunk is all set to return to the big screen with the upcoming Bollywood movie based on the 2016 Uri Attacks, which is described as the 'deadliest attack on security forces in Kashmir in two decades', reported a news in Bombay Times.
The film titled 'Uri' will see Mohit play an Indian Army officer and will be shot in Mohit's hometown Jammu & Kashmir.
Mohit was quoted in the leading daily as saying that he always wanted to do something different in B-town and hence he picked up Uri. He also revealed that he was really excited to be working alongside actors like Paresh Rawal and Vicky Kaushal.
Mohit, who has always cherished a dream to join the Indian Army revealed that since that could not take place, he would make up for the same, by playing an Army Man whenever he would get the chance.
Well, we are excited! Who else is?
