Mohit is back enriched with knowledge

Mohit Malhotra stepped into the television industry with MTV's popular show Splitzvilla, and was later seen in Star Plus' Mitwa and Sasural Genda Phool. Mohit has toned himself as an actor after taking a break from the television industry.

"I was in New York lately with my dad and was undergoing a workshop from New York Film Academy. The workshop gave a general overview of acting and it also gave me a chance to learn the different techniques of acting that could help me in my acting career. I am looking forward to do a course in New York Film Academy later sometime."

Having done this workshop and an acting course in Mumbai, Mohit is open to take up different roles in the industry. "I have not restricted myself regarding the roles I would do. As long as the show is good and the role is interesting, I don't mind doing the show. As an actor I like to explore different roles."

He further says "I did Splitzvilla, Mitwa and Sasural Genda Phool, and all the three shows are very different from each other. It was great doing these shows as the characters were of different shades and I am looking forward to do such diverse roles in future."

Talking about his character in Sasural Genda Phool he says "The character Sid is more like me and like Sid, I too started my career as a model. The reason that I could be more natural as Sid led me to accept the role."

Mohit reveals that Sasural Genda Phool is getting a new track and he will be back in the show. Since Mohit started of his television career with a reality show, he also likes to do reality shows and he shares his desire to be part of a dance reality show if approached.

Mohit in real life is very chilled out and loves to explore new avenues in life. We wish Mohit a good luck in his future ventures.
