Mohit Chauhan to appear in a show on TV!

Singer Mohit Chauhan is one of the best singers of the country and his soulful melodies are a cult. Hitting the popular chord with Shahid-Kareena's 'Jab We Met' where he sung the song 'Tum Se Hi' to Ranbir-Deepika's 'Tamasha' where the song 'Matargashti' sung by him still makes it everyone's top playlist.

Apart from singing in films, the actor has also sung for various commercials and shows. According to a leading news daily, the singer will be singing the title song in the show, 'Yeh Hai Aashiqui'. However, for the first he will also be featuring in a significant role in the same episode.

The singer was cheerful about this stint and said, "When I was asked to sing the title song of the show, I agreed to do it because it is so passionate and evokes so much emotion. The song is about love. If you were to look at my repertoire of songs, romantic numbers form a major chunk of it. It is totally my favourite genre."

Sharing about his role in the episode, he said, "I will be playing the sutradhaar (narrator), weaving the story through a song."
