Mitali Nag ties the knot with her beau Sankalp!

The day when you get married to someone is always special so how did Mitali feel after getting married? She says, "For a girl the day when she gets married is always a special day and it was the same with me. As an actor you get attention and fame but it is completely different experience when you are marrying because the entire attention is grabbed by the bride. It feels special when you are complemented by everyone and all bless you. I had donned South Indian look for my wedding. I had to struggle a lot to shop for my wedding dress. I roamed a lot and then finally I found a place in Matunga for my wedding outfit. We got married in a South Indian style and my husband was excited to wear veshti. As my husband is a Rajput we also followed Rajputana rituals like Haldi, Mehendi, Sangeet etc."

Talking about her husband Sankalp she says, "I feel he is very sorted and understanding. He has accepted me and my career. He is an intelligent person and always keeps me updated with the latest happenings. Before my acting career I was working for a BPO where he was a manager then when I left we were not in touch but later our Bhabi (sister in law) played a cupid and after one and a half years of courtship we are happily married."

When asked Mitali whether her parents were aware about their relationship or not and did they have any problems with her relationship, she says, "My parents and his family never had problems with our relationship. They have always respected my decisions. My in-laws are also very nice people. When I told my parents that I want to marry in a South Indian style they accepted my decision. I am blessed to have liberal people in my life."
