Hollywood’s action king Tom Cruise is ready to hit Indian cinemas before the rest of the world with his much-awaited film Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning. The movie was earlier planned for a global release on May 23, 2025. But now, fans in India will witness Ethan Hunt’s thrilling journey on May 17, six days ahead of the original date.

This surprise announcement was made by Paramount Pictures India on Friday. The news quickly spread like wildfire on social media. The studio posted the update on Instagram with the caption: “#MissionImpossible - The Final Reckoning now releases early in India. New date - 17th May. Releasing in English, Hindi, Tamil & Telugu.”

Fans couldn’t contain their excitement. One wrote, “The final #MissionImpossible is coming, and it’s been my childhood favorite! Just one req please release it with Eng subs. I want to watch it in the original language, not dubbed. pleaee release it with subs ... demand t subs from studios or distributor ... pleseeeee.” Another fan commented, “Thanks @TomCruise anna. This movie was initially planned as Dead Reckoning – Part Two, but the makers later gave it a new title.
