After Tanushree Dutta coming out in open, the #MeToo drive has gone viral. A lot of prominent names have come out from the likes of Alok Nath to Rohit Roy.
And now, actress Mandana Karimi, who was last seen in Ishqbaaaz, spoke up about her brush with sexual misconduct in the industry.

She says, "Being a woman in any industry has never been an easy thing. For so long women have been made to feel inferior and weak by their male counterparts. In this industry if you don't give in to the personal wishes of the director or producer you're looked at as 'difficult to work with' or life on the set is intentionally made harder just because you chose to say NO".

"I have personally experienced this and I have been called a drama queen and someone with too much attitude, even to the extent of someone saying that I'm not from here and this is how things work in India. It reached a point where I decided to just keep my mouth shut and my thoughts to myself and accept the fact that women have no voice," revealed Mandana.

She goes on, "And if they do say something, then there are consequences for what they say. It's sad that the issues that were prevalent 10 years ago are still on going today. But thanks to social media, women are finding their voices and finally speaking out. I encourage all women that have faced adversity to express themselves and know that we are all here to support each other. What happened to Tanushree Dutta wasn't right. We need to address it and take action. Together."

Point perfectly put forth, Mandana.

It's rather embarrassing and shameful people are willing to comment on useless articles and fail to comment on such important articles.
Much power to all the women who went through all of this. They're all warriors.

Happy Birthday Thalaiva...

I love his old black and white movies where he showed off his versatility. Many people think that Rajni is an actor who takes up only those movies with the same old commercially-hit plots. But his old movies where he acted as a villain, his true talent would be seen in those. Thalapathy still remains of my favourite movies of all time.

Who would not love his performance in Basha and Padayappa movie <3?

His style, his "ground-to-earth" personality is what I love about him.

Happy Birthday Rajnikanth sir! You are a source of inspiration to me :). Wishing you all success for the movie Lingaa and a great year ahead :)
