Metallica's India tour dates revealed

New Delhi, May 3 (IANS) American heavy metal band Metallica, known for songs like 'Unforgiven' and 'Nothing else matters', have revealed the dates for their performances in India.

Their gig in the capital will be held in Leisure Valley in Gurgaon on Oct 28, while they will enthral fans in Bangalore's Palace Ground Oct 30. The dates were revealed on the band's website www.metallica.com.

'At this stage in the game, there are very few places in the world that we have not dragged our gear and crew to, so that makes this show announcement extra special... for the first time ever, we will be visiting India for two shows! It's about time, wouldn't you say?!?!' the band members posted on the site.

Metallica has four members - James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo.

The tickets to the concerts will be available at www.ticketgenie.in and www.dnanetworks.com starting Wednesday.
