Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali actor Sai Ketan Rao: Every project is a level up as an actor

Sai Ketan Rao aka Raghav Rao from Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali has managed to win the hearts of those watching the show with his brooding avatar on the show. While the track of the show continues to bring a bunch of surprises for the fans and the storyline keeps getting interesting, Sai spoke to India Forums about working in the Hindi GEC space.

Ask him if he ever fathomed the kind of response he has been getting for the show, he said, ''I came on this project with no expectations I think, I just worked with my character and along with the story, and went with the flow. I never had it in my mind that this is the kind of response I will get or there will be such a fandom, to begin with. I was just thinking about the role and the story, and that's it.''

Since he made a shift to the Hindi GEC space, we also asked him he feels the show has brought about a change in any manner. He said, ''There is a change of course, because every project is a level up and also in terms of my career, and that's the thing. Coming to Hindi, this is a project, and there is only a language difference. In Hyderabad, I shot in Telugu and here it is Hindi, and that's the only difference. Of course, I understand Hindi has a bigger audience because all Indians see Star Plus shows, but the procedure is the same.''

The show recently clocked in 100 episodes and has been garnering rave reviews. It features Shivangi Khedkar in the lead role as Pallavi Deshmukh.
