Meghan Markle Created a Rift between Harry - William? Royal Experts Reveal Bitter Truth

As known to all, things between brothers, Prince Harry and Prince William had gone sour soon after the former tied the knot with former actress Meghan Markle. Reportedly, the siblings were going through a rough patch and the reason for it was a piece of advice which the elder brother gave his younger brother!

While everything is fine between the duo now, a new documentary titled, 'William & Harry: Princes at War' will be exploring the tensed relationship shared by the brothers and goes back to the times when the Duke of Sussex began dating the Duchess of Sussex.

According to Sky News broadcaster and journalist Carole Malone, elder brother William was concerned about his younger brother, Harry. Following which he tried to give him a piece of advice over his relationship with the former Suits actress, Meghan Markle. While giving him his piece of mind, William warned him to take things slow with the American actress and this in turn led to things going sour between the two.

"The biggest cause of their so-called rift was Wills tried to warn Harry when he met Meghan not to rush into it. He’d only known her for less than a year when they got engaged. He sat him down and just told him to take it a bit slow, not to run at it," she said.

"It was all so quick that William and Kate didn't have a moment to get to know Meghan because Harry hardly knew Meghan," Ingrid Seward, royal expert and editor of Majesty Magazine explained. "And of course William and Kate would have quite naturally thought 'oh she's been married before, she's older than Harry, I hope she's going to make him happy'. Anyone would think that," she added.

The Sun's Emily Andrews also revealed on the program that many sources revealed to her that Harry went "ballistic" and said, "'You're trying to wreck this relationship before it's even started.'"

Author Katie Nicholl also revealed that sources told her, “The dynamic changed, that there was a shift and it was largely down to Harry resenting his brother. Harry supported William from the outset of his relationship with Kate and he felt very let down that he wasn’t getting his brother’s full 100 percent support with the relationship with Meghan,” she added.

Reportedly, Kate Middleton and Prince William dated for more than seven years before they took their relationship to the next level and made it official by tying the knot. However, recent reports suggest that things are getting better between the Fab Four. Meghan and Kate were spotted at the Wimbledon in 2018 as a sign of "peace offering." She went on to even buy flowers for Meghan and Harry the following day, Daily Mail reported.
