It was quite a shocking moment for Apna Time Bhi Aayega leading lady Megha Ray when both her parents tested positive for COVID-19 a while ago. However, it's all good now and indeed good news too as her parents have now tested negative for the virus.
And hence, following that, she has even resumed shooting in Goa. Obviously, before resuming shoot, she also went through a COVID-19 test and it came out negative. Talking about it with ETimes TV, Ray said, “My parents have fully recovered and have tested negative. I also got myself tested just to be on a safer side and thankfully, everything is fine. Considering the lockdown imposed in Maharashtra, we have shifted our base to Goa on a temporary basis. The makers have been taking all the precautions. Taking inspiration from IPL, we are also shooting amid bio-secure bubble environment. The idea is to isolate ourselves from the outside world to minimise the risk of Covid-19 infection. Neither we are stepping out, nor are we allowing outsiders to come to our shooting sets. It’s a confined circle.”
Ray favors the lockdown imposed as she said, “The lockdown has its own inconveniences but it’s really important to break the chain. The coronavirus is spreading like wildfire. So we must respect the government’s decision in the best interest of a much larger cause. Also, I believe there is hope for all of us as many production houses have been looking for alternatives to continue the shoot in some way and minimize the impact on the show as well as the teams associated with it."
