Anu Malik’s case in #Meetoo movement closed

The National Commission for Women has reportedly closed the #MeToo case against one more famous personality owing to lack of evidence. Anu Malik was sacked from the singing reality show Indian Idol because of the sexual harassment charges filed against him.

According to the reports by Mumbai Mirror , the National Commission for Women (NCW) has decided to close the case on account of lack of communication or substantial evidence on the part of the complainant.

Singers Sona Mahapatra and Shweta Pandit amongst others too had taken to their social media handles against Anu Malik  slamming the makers for allowing him to judge a reality show in spite of sexual harassment allegations against him. Now after the case being closed and allegations being lifted upon, there is a wave of dismay in the industry.

It has to be noted that all the big fish from the entertainment industry got away with their behaviour while relatively less powerful Sajid Khan and Alok Nath paid a hefty price for allegations made against them.
