Mauritius Tourism ties up with Indian designer Charu Parashar

With destination wedding becoming a popular trend in Indian market, Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA) has associated with wedding couturier Charu Parashar to promote the Island nation as the ideal location.

In an initiative to promote Mauritius as a preferred luxury wedding destination, MTPA will organise a luxury fashion event 'OM Luxe' Oct 18 here and Parashar will present the best of trends and designs in bridal couture.

The designer admits that Mauritius is the "most exotic wedding and honeymoon destination" for any high profile Indian wedding.

Vasudha Sondhi, managing partner of OM Luxe, said: "OM Luxe aims to bring specialised travel experiences to a larger audience in India through association with lifestyle events and therefore we are delighted with our partnership with Charu Parashar who has been at the forefront of making her label appeal to a larger audience with her fabulous designs."
