Everyone got a shock when news came that Mary Kom is reportedly headed towards a divorce. The Olympic medallist is one of the best sportspersons India has ever produced. Her journey has been characterized by the support, love and sacrifice of her husband, K Onler. A promising footballer, he gave up on his career to support Mary Kom’s Olympic dream, training by looking after their young twin children. Hindustan Times reported that she is allegedly dating a man who is the former husband of a fellow boxer, and her business associate. Netizens believe it is none other than Hitesh Choudhary. 

His Instagram is full of their pictures together. From Maha Kumbh to Paris, Hitesh is always by her side. He is the chairman of her foundation. Sources told Hindustan Times that they have been going strong since some time now. Mary Kom and K Onler have been living separately since 2022. She is in Faridabad with her two sons, while K Onler lives in Delhi with his family. While it is a private matter, people are what could have ended such a solid marriage. In fact, there is sympathy for K Onler as well on social media. 

Hitesh Choudhary seems to be a gym rat. We can see that he has a very toned body. However, many felt the reason Mary Kom allegedly left her husband K Onler is not a very strong one. He had lost Rs two to three crores while he was campaigning for the elections in Manipur. This led to a rift between the couple. Fans have asked her to reconsider for the sake of the kids who are just in their early teens. 

Mary Kom has said that she is not going to lose her dignity commenting on her personal life in the media. She also said that no one needs to get into this space of her life.
