Marriage on cards - Shikha Singh to quit Laado..

Yes, you heard it right!! The grapevine says that the actress is getting married sometime in March, and plans to bid adieu to acting for now..

A little birdie tells us, "Shikha Singh is getting married to a non-industry person who is an engineer by profession. Shikha's 'Dream Man' is settled abroad and the family in which she is getting married to are very personal people. Shikha will kick-start her family life abroad, and this explains her decision to quit acting".

We hear that when Shikha Singh was called back to be part of the Laado family post leap, the actress had made it very clear that she would be available only till February. Since the show needed strong characters to bolster the initial post leap story, the channel and production house had in fact accepted Shikha's condition and got her in.

"Shikha will now be shooting for Na Aana Is Desh Laado only till February, after which she will be leaving the show. The creative team is now planning the mode of exit they would want to give to the character of Amba. At the same time, the creatives need to somehow take the story forward within this time period, wherein Jhanvi (Vaishnavi Dhanraj) who is presently staying with Amba needs to be transported to Ammaji's (Meghna Malik) family before Amba's exit", adds our source.

Shikha is presently seen as contestant of Sony's Jubilee Comedy Circus too.

We tried repeatedly to get in touch with Shikha Singh to know more about her upcoming marriage, but she did not answer our calls.

A birdie tells us that Amba might be shown going to USA, leaving behind Jhanvi in Delhi.
