Sony Sab's show 'Ali Baba: Ek Andaaz Andekha' has been in the headlines ever since the lead actress of the show Tunisha Sharma committed suicide and her costar and rumoured boyfriend Sheezan Khan was blamed and put behind bars for the same.

Well, for a lot of time now, the internet has been abuzz with the news of the show going off air. And now, this news has finally been confirmed. according to reports in a media portal, the show is all set to wind up by the 10th of June.

India Forums reached out to Manul Chudasama, the lead actress of the show to confirm the same and the actress got in a heartfelt conversation with us. Talking to us about how disheartening the news of her show going off air is, Manul said, ''It was very sad to know that my show is going off air. I have not been shooting for the past few days and will resume in a day or two. Honestly, bidding goodbye to Ali Baba is going to be very hard for me. We have all worked very hard for the show. This character is always going to be special to me. Nevertheless, I think it's time to look for a new show now.''

Manul has always mentioned that the show and her character hold a very special place in her heart. We asked the actress the reason behind the same and she said, ''This character is that of a princess. My attire in the show, the language our characters speak, I love each and every detail about my character in the show. I do not think I will be able to find anything similar. I think this is the reason why it is very difficult for me to let go of the show and hence it is always going to be special. I hope I get to play a princess again. It is a great feeling to dress up everyday like a princess and adding to it all are the people on set. All of them were really homely.''

We asked Manul if replacing the late Tunisha Sharma worked in her favour and the show gained more popularity or it worked against her and hence the show went off air. To this the Ali Baba actress said, ''It has been 3 months only that I entered the show. I think you have to work a bit longer for people to recognise you. Whatever happened with Tunisha was extremely saddening and all of us feel bad about the same. Yes, It was a huge responsibility for me to fit in her shoes. I tried my best and gave the show my best. I tried to take things ahead with dignity and very responsibly. It has been a great feeling to be a part of the show. I believe no body can take away what is written in your destiny. This show was written in my destiny. I was destined to be a part of the show, even if it was just for a span of 3 months. Everything is predestined.''
