Tonight's Mannat Har Khushi Paane Ki episode begins with Vikrant addressing his team, emphasising the need to stand united and support Shalini through her ordeal. He firmly states that they must manage the situation with responsibility and compassion. Puneet steps forward to apologise, but Vikrant quickly assures him there's no need—he holds no one accountable for what transpired, especially since he was the one who had hired him. Stressing the importance of unity, Vikrant declares that their workplace is like a family. He further announces that employees working late will now be dropped home safely via Mezbani's personal cabs.
Just then, Vikrant's assistant informs him that Mezbani is receiving a lot of praise online. Customers are hailing the team for exposing the culprit, and the brand is now trending on social media. Meanwhile, Vikrant subtly looks around for Mannat. Aishwarya tells him their car has arrived, and they head home together.
At another point, Harneet questions Mannat about the events at Mezbani. A visibly disturbed Mannat confesses she's still in shock. She reveals that Derick had been working with her for a month, and though she sensed his arrogance and male ego, she never expected him to cross such a line. The idea that he could harm someone this way feels unbelievable to her. Harneet encourages her to stay strong.
Later, Puneet loses his temper at Laksh over a careless mistake. He criticises him for preparing a dish without salt, scolding him for being inattentive. Laksh apologises, insisting it wasn't intentional. Puneet sternly warns him and walks away, accidentally bumping into Mannat on his way out. He quickly apologises. Mannat, concerned, asks him what's wrong and offers him a listening ear. Laksh opens up, revealing that Derick is actually his friend. They had joined Mezbani together, and he firmly believes Derick isn't capable of such a crime. However, out of fear of losing his job, he chose to stay silent during the arrest. Mannat hands him a sweet, gently advising him to stay calm and in control. As Puneet calls out for him, Laksh leaves. Mannat is left in deep thought.
Meanwhile, Aishwarya sees media gathering and questions Mallika about it. Mallika explains that she planned a talk show to clarify matters to the public directly from the family's perspective. Aishwarya appears miffed that she wasn't consulted, but Vikrant supports Mallika's idea. He proposes a joint family interview, but Aishwarya mentions that Boby and Raveena shouldn't be involved as they're preparing to leave. Vikrant disagrees, insisting on their presence. Aishwarya tries to convince Roni to cooperate, telling him it's just for a day, and avoiding it could lead to more questions from Vikrant.
Elsewhere, Mannat visits Shalini at home, bringing her food and engaging in light-hearted conversation to lift her spirits. Harneet is seen comforting her brother as well. But as Shalini watches the televised family interview, she spots Boby and is suddenly gripped by fear. In a panic, she smashes the TV and hides under a table. Mannat manages to calm her down and gently urges her to open up, but Shalini remains silent. Mannat, however, starts sensing something is off.
Later, Neetu and Roni are shown discussing the recent upheavals, clearly worried. Harneet informs Mannat about Shalini's frightened reaction to the interview. This strengthens Mannat's belief that Derick might not be guilty. She admits that while Derick might not be a perfect person, she never saw the traits of a criminal in him. She even noticed a certain innocence in his eyes. Mannat shows some evidence to Harneet, who advises her to hand it over to the authorities.
Meanwhile, Neetu confides in Vikrant, sharing her emotional distress. He comforts her with empathy. Back with Mannat, her instincts tell her that the real culprit might still be within the Salooja household.
As Vikrant walks in, he and Mannat share a brief, emotional moment where both instinctively apologise to each other for their past words and misunderstandings. The air between them softens, and Vikrant brings up the topic of Sunita. Trying to comfort Mannat, he assures her that things will eventually fall into place. Mannat agrees with a hopeful smile, mentioning her faith in divine intervention. She's about to say more—something about Vikrant also being a guiding force—but stops herself, remembering his earlier denial of being connected to her spiritual beliefs.
Sensing her hesitation, Vikrant reflects on his earlier behaviour and expresses regret for his harshness. Mannat brushes it off, saying the circumstances at the time were overwhelming. Changing the subject, Vikrant mentions that since Shalini's offender has been caught, he's planning to visit the Gurudwara to offer gratitude and bring back prasad. He gently asks Mannat if she'd like to join him. Caught off-guard, Mannat hesitates and simply responds with a soft apology. Mannat hesitates but finally musters the courage to ask him whether he truly believes Derick is the guilty one. Vikrant replies that Derick's DNA sample matched with the one collected from the kitchen, which is why he was implicated.
