Maleeka R Ghai roped in for Channel V's next!

We had earlier reported about Edge Storm Production house soon coming up with a new show. The latest we hear is that the show will be a dance based youth show which has been tentatively titled as Dance Baby Dance.

Now, we hear that Maleeka R Ghai, who was quite appreciated for her acting skills on popular shows like Saraswatichandra and Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi, has been finalized to play a pivotal role on the show.

Our source informs us, "Maleeka will be seen playing the role of female protagonist's (Niyati Thathnani) mother on the show, who is very loving and supporting towards her daughter."

This show will mark the comeback of Maleeka R Ghai to daily soaps after her leg injury recovery, which she had got while shooting on the sets of Lajwanti.

When we contacted Maleeka, she confirmed being a part of the show. However, she refused to divulge any further details about the show.
