Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora reach their mom's place post their father’s death

In a heartbreaking twist, Bollywood star and model Malaika Arora has faced the loss of her father, Anil Arora. The news surfaced this morning (September 11, 2024), though the exact cause of death remains undisclosed. Malaika and her sister Amrita Arora have hurried to their mother's home.

Malaika, who was in Pune, rushed back home as soon as she heard the news. Furthermore, actor-producer Arbaaz Khan was seen arriving at Malaika's family home in Mumbai amidst these reports. Police officers and members of the media were observed outside the apartment. Arjun Kapoor, Seema Sajdeh, Sohail Khan, Salim Khan, Alvira Agnihotri, and others also came to offer their condolences to the actress.

Malaika's parents separated when she was 11, and after that, she relocated to Chembur with her mother and sister, Amrita. Her mother, Joyce Polycarp, is a Malayali Christian, while her father, Anil Arora, was a Punjabi Hindu from Fazilka, a border town in India, and served in the Indian Merchant Navy.

In a past interview, she shared how her parents' split gave her a fresh outlook on her mother. She mentioned that this event instilled in her a robust work ethic and the significance of being self-reliant. She described these initial teachings as fundamental to her personal and professional life, highlighting her strong independence, the value she places on freedom, and her commitment to living life on her own terms.

She thinks it's crucial for kids to have a supportive environment that isn't intrusive. She sees herself as fun and laid-back, not always watching his every move, but stresses that he knows she means business when needed.
