Mahhi Vij gets rape threats from abusive man who banged into her car

Actor Mahhi Vij was involved in an unanticipated incident earlier yesterday which led to further issues. Vij complained of her car being banged into by a stranger who turned abusive and gave her rape threats. The actor, who was in the car with her daughter Tara, took to her Twitter account and sought Mumbai Police' help to trace the man.

Sharing a video with the car's plate number, Mahhi wrote, "This person banged my car got abusive and gave me rape threats his wife got aggressive and said chod de isko @MumbaiPolice help me find this guy who is threat to us."

Mumbai Police was prompt to reply, "Please visit the nearest police station and lodge your Complaint." Mahhi quoted the tweet and informed she visited Worli station where she was assured of help.

Vij, who has done several popular shows on television such as Laagi Tujhse Lagan and Balika Vadhu, is married to actor Jay Bhanushali. The latter is currently seen as a host on Dance India Dance Little Masters. The two were also participants of Nach Baliye, a dance reality show.
