Mahesh Thakur and Ayushi Khurana of Aangan Aapno Ka speak about their recent potluck lunch

Aangan Aapno Kaa' captivates audiences with its heartfelt narrative of familial love, particularly focusing on the poignant relationship between a daughter and her father. The storyline takes an emotional turn as Jaidev Sharma (portrayed by Mahesh Thakur) finds himself alone after his youngest daughter Pallavi (played by Ayushi Khurana) also gets married, leaving Pallavi torn between her roles as a daughter and a daughter-in-law.

While the Sharma sisters embark on their new family journeys on screen, the entire cast and crew come together during lunch breaks to foster a sense of unity. Embracing the adage "the family that eats together, stays together," the team organized a potluck lunch where everyone contributed their homemade specialties. From Samar Vermani's sugar-free cake to Wasim Mushtaq's delectable kebabs, the table was adorned with a variety of treats. However, the highlight was Mahesh Thakur's homemade biryani, which garnered rave reviews from all.

Mahesh Thakur, in his role as Jaidev, expressed, "I enjoy sharing homemade food with my co-workers on set as we share a close and affectionate bond off-screen. Recently, I brought 'Biryani' for my fellow actors, and the response was overwhelmingly positive. Since we spend long hours shooting, the set becomes our home, and the cast becomes our family. Having lunch together is our way of celebrating this bond, especially when all the actors are present."

Ayushi Khurana, portraying Pallavi, added, "Many of us actors live away from home, so potluck lunches offer a chance to savor delicious homemade dishes. I eagerly anticipate these gatherings to see what everyone brings. It's a wonderful tradition that brings the entire cast together, fostering conversations about various topics."
