'Mahabharat' fame Gufi Paintal aka Shakuni Mama passes away

Gufi Paintal, best known for his role as Shakuni Mama in the epic show Mahabharat, passed away. The actor was hospitalised due to age-related issues and was critical.

Earlier, when Gufi Paintal was hospitalised, his nephew Hiten Paintal said that the 80-year-old actor had been admitted to the hospital in suburban Andheri for over a week. However, today comes the sad news of the actor's demise. 

Also, that time actor Tina Ghai told PTI, "He has multiple health issues, including heart, kidney, and other age-related health issues. Hence, he was admitted to the hospital seven to 10 days ago. I visit him regularly. He is stable," 

Apart from Mahabharat, Gufi Paintal has been featured in Hindi films such as Sharmaji Namkeen, Suhaag, Dillagi, and television shows CID and Hello Inspector.
