A One-to-One with the Good looking Vineet Raina as he talks about his new serial 'Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai' and the Maayka controversy!!
The Tall and Dashing Actor, Vineet Raina has captured the hearts of all his viewers playing the loving husband of Rajji in Maayka. Popularity is surely on the rise for Vineet as he is all set to play the Romantic Husband, Akshay Thakral in Zee's recently launched serial Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai... Here is a Chit-Chat with the actor himself...
Vineet: Not really. It is true that I don’t have time for anything extra now. But I am doing fine, managing both the shows.
Don’t you feel that Maayka and Har Ghar overlap when it comes to the story line? Three sisters and their roller coaster of events.
Vineet: Not really! Yes, there are three female protagonists. But in Har Ghar, these girls are not real sisters. Here the subject is not about their Maayka issues, its something different. This serial mainly focusses on arranged marriages, live-in relationships, love marriages etc. So that’s where it really differs.
What made you opt for Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai?
Vineet: First of all, it’s a lead. Secondly, I love the story, it’s something that has never been shown on Indian television.
Coming back to Maayka, the show went thru a lot in the past one month, your comments on that.
Vineet: Yes, the show did face a lot of issues. But I am glad that despite all of that, the show did very well in the TRP chart last month.
Do such kinds of controversies affect the actors of the show?
Vineet: I don’t know about the rest, but in my case I was really not in touch with everyone, as I was busy shooting for Har Ghar. But yes, it does make a little difference, as the people who you see everyday are all of a sudden gone. Then you have an entire new team to work with. But these things shouldn’t affect the actors, the show must go on..
We heard that you are moving into a new house, how is that coming along?
Vineet: Its been a hectic schedule. Believe me, I haven't even had one day to pack and I am supposed to be out of the house soon. I don’t even have a single box ready. (laughs)
Your take on the new show Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai?
Vineet: Maayka rocked the nation and so will Har Ghar.
